Recently featured on popular West Coast artist Joe Moses’s album, Til Death Do Us Part and his new single, “Straight Shots” making an impact on West Coast Hip-Hop. Buzzworthy new artist AQ is ready to make a name for himself with his own sound in new album, White Lies.
Campaigning the release of the new album, the former Basketball player-turned-recording artist unleashed a smooth video for the new single. Shown below, AQ throws a private party brought to you by director Shootsblayr that makes for great anticipation for the new project. White Lies is AQ’s third solo release, following previous noteworthy efforts, Transition and Here to Stay.
The new album’s breakout single, ‘Straight Shots’ is currently gaining momentum on Los Angeles number-one radio station for Hip-Hop Power 106, expected to sky rocket to the top of rotation by the end of the Summer.
The 12-track White Lies gives the listener an intimate portrait of AQ as he makes himself vulnerable to tell certain stories about his love life. These songs are about love, regret, passion and pain, but more importantly a relief being lifted off his shoulders. White Lies is a body of work that will allow others going through similar situations to gain peace of mind, offer a sonic getaway, and to know they aren’t alone in how they feel after a love lost.
