Where does your musical inspiration derive from?
Accomplishing goals, proving haters wrong, and my general day-to-day life I feel like I’m living a movie so it’s easy for me to come up with new songs. Growing up I listened to a lot of 2pac, and Eminem, then it was T.I. and Lil Wayne, I like knowing that you don’t have to have a great education to be great with words and use them to advance in life.
How would you describe your style of talent?
I’m diverse when it comes to flow and to me, that’s a true talent when you can flip your flow and still sound genuine. My style is unique.
What are some of your favorite highlights/memories that you have from being in the industry?
My first time performing, the crowd really liked my song and I felt the energy.
Why is giving back to the community important when you have reached a point in your career where you are able to give back?
It’s important to never forget where you come from. It’s been times when I was struggling and all I needed was a little push to stop me from doing something desperate. Small things can change someone’s life, when I was in prison you would be amazed to find out what something as small as a pencil and paper donation could do for me.
