Getting to Know Hip Hop Artist Savii Cross

Growing up was never easy, but Hip Hop artist Savii Cross found a positive outlet to channel his emotions which unexpectedly turned into a full-fledged Hip Hop career. Hoping to capture people’s attention with what he has to say, Savii aims to relate to listeners’ pain in order to let them know that they’re not alone in their fight. Currently, Savii is working on a new project entitled “South Baby 2” that he expects to drop in May. COVID put off momentum a bit as shows shut down last year, but that hasn’t stopped his traction as Savii recently had a show with Drumma Boy in ATL. Now, he plans to put a tour together to celebrate everything opening back up again. Always staying busy, Savii’s work ethic is what makes him stand apart from the crowd. Understanding the importance of consistency, he focuses his attention not on the amount of followers he has, but on the quality of the music he creates. He relies on his true fans to tell him what songs they love and which ones they don’t. This helps him to shape his sound so that he’s always giving the people what they want. He aims to make authentic music inspired by what he’s feeling in the moment. And he’s not afraid to invest in himself; “scared money don’t make no money” says Savii as he encourages artists to treat their careers as if they are a small business.
