At the age of 8 years old when my mother passed, I began writing music as a way to express myself. Growing up in south central Los Angeles would soon play an influence on my music and life but growing up in church also always kept me spiritually grounded.
Fast forward to my career as SNOOPYBLUE, I first gained notice rapping along side of SPIDERLOC who at the time was signed to 50cent’s G-UNIT.
Known for my straight forward approach in delivering my message through music, the world began to pay attention when I was featured on a song called “BLUETIFUL WORLD” by SPIDERLOC.
Some would label me a “gangster rapper” but if you listen closely you could tell it was something more to it than just glorifying the lifestyle many black males were accustomed to. In light of loosing many of my friends to gang violence I was inspired to write the song “CHANGIN AIN’T EASY” which in return turned out to be a testimony of my life.
With this song I want to catch the attention of the world and show the transition of being apart of the problem to being apart of the solution. If I can change so can you. We can help each other.
Up to this point I have worked with the likes of SPIDERLOC, Glasses Malone, Daz Dillinger of the Dogg Pound, Kam, Macadoshis of ThugLife, Jayo Felony, Mac Lucci and a host of others. With this song as well as future music I’m looking to sell my products as well as establish my name as a brand of quality music.
