Dave East Reflects On Open Memories With Mike & Keys Collaboration ‘Apt 6E’

Dave East continues the spirit of hip-hop in a road to redemption release in collaboration with Grammy Award winning producer-duo Mike & Keys, titled Apt 6E.

The new 15-track project from Dave East and follow-up to his 2022, HDIGH with Mike & Keys. Apt 6E shows room for growth in lessons learned from the 36-year old Harlem rapper. Each track represents a year in growth since Dave East’s first mixtape debut, No Regrets which was released in 2010.

The project follows a range of tracks and features  such as leading single “SO MUCH CHANGED” and “ME VS. ME” feat. Stacy Barthe, “DANGEROUS RIDDIUM” feat. Shaggy, “THIS LIFESTYLE” feat. Kurupt, & “BALLIN” feat. Buddy.

One of my favorite tracks on the album “CAN’T EVEN KNOW” reflects his early childhood memories of witnessing his first touch of street trauma at the age of 12. East proves that he’s worthy of the redemption of a man who respects morals, the code, and principles. In the age of information, artists are gaining more leverage and creative control of a culture which is rapidly evolving. East recently departed from Def Jam marking his first independent release since his major label signing in 2016.
