Esports mogul and multi-millionaire angel investor Bernard Chong is rebounding gracefully from damaging and false allegations that were widely publicized. As he reimagines his future and rebuilds his personal brand, Mr. Chong is now preparing for the launch of several US-based ventures. The avid investor has hinted at the upcoming release of a ground-breaking new mobile app, am LA-based, high-end experiential coffee shop, Mendo Coffee, a Panama-based housing development, and a global non-profit focused on making education accessible to all.
As an entrepreneur, investor and humanitarian who has provided leverage for many start-ups around the globe, Chong is best known as the Founder of the award-winning Bren Esports organization. Bren’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang achieved a historic win as the first Philippine team to win the M-series World Championship title. In May, the Philippines’ SIBOL team triumphantly won a Gold medal in the 32nd Southeast Asia Games (SEA) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) men’s tournament.
U.S. gamers are hopeful following Chong’s recent interviews in Esports.net and Sportskeeda.com that he might expand his empire into PC esports and console gaming here in the States. The millionaire gaming, apparel, tech, hospitality, food and beverage investor is reportedly establishing an office in One West Magazine’s hometown of Los Angeles. He shared his sentiments on his new domestic HQ saying, “California is a beautiful place, and the United States is full of opportunities to invest in start-ups that are on the cutting edge. I’m most excited about partnerships and collaborations with U.S.-based companies and investors, as well as diving deeper in mentorship and philanthropy.”
We’re excited to see what’s next for this innovator and humanitarian!
