N.Y.E: Ayo & Teo Fight Fire With Fire, Spit Fire

Ayo & Teo went from spark to blaze combusting onto the music scene with their Billboard hit “Rolex,” that has garnered 700 million combined social views and rewarded them with 4 million Instagram followers. They will perform their new release, “Like Us,” at the “Gold N.Y.E” on December 31st, 2017 at the Fonda Theater on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles. They will be performing with DJ Sam F a.k.a Dr. Woke who has performed at Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC).

50 percent of the raffle and product proceeds of the event will be donated via the 501c3, “Turn Kindness On,” to the nonprofit, “Widows, Orphans, and Disabled Firefighters,” to help the often forgotten families of the heroes who oppose and continue to battle the fires that have ravaged California.

The fire “damaged a whole bunch of homes. It took over basically a lot of California. You have to give back to the people who need clothes and food and everything else,” states Teo, who lives in Atlanta and has not been personally affected by the fires.

“I’m not really an event producer; I’m doing this more for the charitable aspect,” states showrunner Keanu Taleo. Taleo traces his insatiable obsession for charity back to working at homeless shelters, “when you’re young and you get that feeling, you get addicted to it and you want to continue to help people.” Throughout his life, he and his brother have fed over 30,000 people. He would progress to build an orphanage in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. “We’ve been doing everything we can to not only give back ourselves but to show our family, anyone we run into cause a lot of people are afraid (to give back),” states Taleo.

“If we can start promoting positive influence then it’s going to continue to spread,” he states. “I think that giving is already acceptable, it’s not about it being acceptable or not, it’s about it being accessible. The more avenues that we can create and make giving and giving back accessible then we’re doing our job.”
