Charlie Murphy Dies at 57

Today, One West Magazine is sad to announce that comedy legend, and brother to Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy, Charlie Murphy, has tragically passed away at the age of 57. According to his manager, Charlie had been undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia, and died in a hospital in New York City.

Charlie is well-known for his appearances on the iconic Dave Chappelle Show; Rick James and Prince sketches in particular. The legendary comedian was also recently cast as an intregal character on the very popular Comedy Central show, Black Jesus. Rest in peace Charlie Murphy; you will be missed.
