Emerging artist QuisyG is quickly becoming one of the most compelling voices rising out of the South. At 29, the musician, singer/songwriter, and producer is redefining what it means to be a modern storyteller—bringing together gospel roots, southern flavor, heartfelt emotion, and sharp lyrical wit to create a sound that is uniquely his.

A proud Vicksburg native, QuisyG’s musical journey began in the church, where he was raised on faith, soul, and spiritual discipline. Today, he continues that legacy as Minister of Music for Greater Mount Zion (Vicksburg), Mount Pisgah (Bovina), and Spring Hill Baptist Church (Vicksburg). His deep connection to gospel influences everything he creates, adding warmth, conviction, and depth to every melody he touches.

A Scholar, A Creative, A Human Radio

QuisyG’s musical foundation is fortified by formal education. He attended Alcorn State University, studying Vocal Music Education, and worked his way through numerous elite choirs throughout his school years. This training sharpened his ability to hear, interpret, and create across genres—shaping him into the versatile, genre-blending artist he is today.

Listeners often describe QuisyG as a “human radio,” capable of channeling multiple eras, moods, and sonic landscapes with ease. His music is heartfelt, cinematic, and emotionally transparent—raw in truth but rich in melody. Whether he’s delivering southern punchlines inspired by Houston and Atlanta or crafting soul-filled harmonies rooted in church, QuisyG’s sound is designed to make you feel, reflect, and hit replay.

A Truth-Telling Love Artist

At his core, QuisyG is a love artist—a storyteller unafraid to dive into the complexities of love, growth, mistakes, redemption, and the human experience. His songs embrace vulnerability and real-life emotion, offering listeners both the good and the bad sides of life’s lessons. He reminds audiences that he’s not a superstar standing above them—he’s a mirror of their own lives. “QuisyG is you and I.”

Flip Music Group: The New Family Legacy

QuisyG’s artistry is strengthened by his collaboration with cousin and production partner Oscar “Ofoesho” Roberts, the great-nephew of jazz icon Ella Fitzgerald and great-grandson of Joseph Jenkins Roberts, Liberia’s first and seventh president. Together, they formed Flip Music Group Inc. alongside partners Byron Hill and Michol Anderson.

This powerhouse team brings legacy, innovation, and elite musicianship to the forefront—creating a sound that’s refined, soulful, and destined to expand far beyond the South.

What’s Next

With new music on the horizon and growing momentum behind his Heartbreak Stories EP, QuisyG is preparing to elevate his presence across the industry. More music, more visuals, more storytelling, and more reasons to fall in love with his authenticity.

Stay tuned—this is only the beginning.
