YoungxSantana Channels Pain, Purpose, and Passion in New Single “My Goons,” Dropping October 21st

YoungxSantana, an emerging voice in hip-hop known for his raw lyricism and emotional depth, is set to release his latest single “My Goons” on October 21st. The track digs deep into personal growth and accountability, as YoungxSantana explores what it truly means to face your past and evolve beyond it.

“My Goons” tells a powerful story about self-awareness, loyalty, and redemption. “It’s about confronting who you used to be while trying to become better,” says YoungxSantana. “Too many people think they’re made for the streets—but not everyone is. This record shows the other side of that life.”

Born and raised in Belize, YoungxSantana discovered his gift for writing at just seven years old. What started as an outlet to express his emotions soon became his life’s purpose. “Music was my therapy before I even knew what therapy was,” he shares. “It helped me process everything I couldn’t say out loud.”

His influences—Eminem and 50 Cent—shaped both his sound and mindset. “Eminem taught me the importance of honesty in your art. 50 Cent taught me how to hustle. I’ve had that grind since I was a kid,” he says, recalling how he used to sell hand-colored paper stars to classmates for $50 a day. “That hustle never left me.”

YoungxSantana’s music is built on emotion and reflection. His process starts with mood—anger, sadness, or calmness—and grows from there. He creates beats, writes from experience, and carefully mixes each track until it resonates perfectly. “I like to take my time,” he explains. “Every line, every sound has to mean something. My goal is for listeners to feel what I felt when I made it.”

His breakout track “Show Me The Real” continues to strike chords with fans, offering an honest look at family, trust, and the pain of inconsistency. “That song reminds me that love isn’t always steady,” he says. “It’s about realizing who’s really there for you.”

Although he’s ventured into tattooing and other side hustles, YoungxSantana knows where his heart truly lies. “Tattooing was never my passion—it was just survival. Music is who I am,” he admits.

Still, he’s aware of how the modern industry has shifted. “The internet changed the game,” he explains. “It made things easier for labels but harder for real artists. Nowadays, it’s not always about talent—it’s about what goes viral. I’m here to remind people that substance still matters.”

With “My Goons,” YoungxSantana continues to prove that authenticity can’t be replicated. He’s not just making songs—he’s crafting stories that reflect real life, struggle, and evolution.

“I always have something coming,” he teases. “This is just one piece of what’s next. Stay tuned.”
