Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis To Perform New Single “He Don’t Know Nothin’ Bout It” With Babyface On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

Grammy-Award winning production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis will perform their debut single “He Don’t Know Nothin’ Bout It” with Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The primetime performance will premiere on Monday (Jan. 18) following the release of their first single in collaboration with Babyface.

The three iconic artists initially came together in 2019, performing at the Soul Train Awards, which had the music industry buzzing. Their single precedes Jam and Lewis’ upcoming album planned for 2021, the duo’s first album of all original music.

Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis have had an illustrious career as producers, having won five Grammy Awards, received over 100 Platinum certifications, and producing 16 Billboard Hot 100 Number Ones. They’ve worked with legendary artists including Elton John, Lionel Richie, and Patti LaBelle, composed music for TBS and TNT networks’ basketball broadcasts, as well as the theme to the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

The duo was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame has received an NAACP image Award, and were nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in “Outstanding Music Direction.”
