Stu R Tillery Wants to Motivate and Levitate

Stu R Tillery’s name comes from a combination of his neighborhood nickname and remembrance for his brother. The Philadelphia rapper has played music throughout his life but started taking it more seriously about 3 years ago. With his genre being Rap/Hip Hop, you could describe his sound as street, emotional, and definitely a vibe. Not only does STU write his own music, he feels that he has a story to tell and wants to share it with others. Who/what inspires your sound/music?

My Life experiences. Well just going through tuff times and different situations that makes me who I am today. I grew up with 6 siblings and a single

 

What are your goals when it comes to your music career?

I want to come up in the discussion when people talk about the GOATS

 

What impact are you looking to make with your music?

I want to motivate any and everybody who needs that push in life!

 

Any life-changing stories/incidents that impacted your music career?

Yea I would say getting shoot on the same block that my brother got killed on. That just made me think and my bro always wanted me to take music more seriously. So, I do this for him. I do this for my family. So, there’s got to be a way because I’m still here for time being!

 

How many albums/EPs have you released to date?

I’ve released 2 EPs. I also have one on the way. Stupendis which is the 1st. Released last year. July 26th also StuMania which was released this year. I’m now getting ready to drop my 3rd Ep Called Stu-Duio.

What would you like to do after music?

I like to start my own business and maybe even start a clothing line.

 

What message do you want to leave the audience?

I want people to know, that even though trying times you still got to keep pushing through it all and stay down.
