Austin Sexton Drops “Paola”

With his retro-based soul and alternative sound, singer/songwriter/producer Austin Sexton seeks to send musical nostalgia through the ears by bringing live instrumentation and traditional song structure back to a modern day free-for-all music production platform. Playing the majority of instruments in his records, he stands close in the circles of Daniel Ceasar, Khalid, Childish Gambino, Bruno Mars, Tame Impala, and Toro Y Moi, and has performed with mainstream music acts from G-Eazy, Ty$, Schoolboy Q, Jeremih, Travis Scott, to KYLE, B.O.B, ASAP Ferg, Jhene Aiko and several others.

Austin has just released “Paola”, his first single since his debut project Good Sex, released in 2017. “Paola” is a fresh take on a vintage 60s sound with the feel of a new-era r&b record. Laced with haunting vocals and eerie-yet-sexy groove, “Paola” is the perfect first look into Austin Sexton’s upcoming EP of the same name.

Austin’s upcoming EP, ‘Paola’ will be available for streaming via The Undefeated Music Group on July 30th. Before the EP, a video for the titled track will be premiered July 24th for your viewing pleasure.
Austin Sexton performs at the Harlowe Bar on Sunday, July 22, at 9pm.
