Chicago Artist Ybillz Makes Music For The Culture

Up-and-coming rapper Ybillz shows fans that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. The Chicago native started rapping over 10 years ago as a fun hobby. But it wasn’t until 2017, at the age of 25, that he decided to prioritize his talent and make a career out of music. Today, Ybillz has managed to build his own fanbase and collaborate with some of hip-hop’s rising artists, including King Bishop and DTE.

When asked what advice he can give to someone who wants to pursue a career in music, Ybillz responded Follow your heart and don’t let no one tell you what you can and can’t do, figure it out for yourself.” While the rapper is mostly focused on his career, he’s also making a positive impact by giving back to the community with contributions to CeaseFire Chicago, a program that helps prevent and reduce gun violence in the city.

Ybillz, now 29, continues to work daily towards his goal of becoming a well-known international artist. His music is based on many aspects from his lifehis feelings, highs and lows and most importantly, his culture. For the young rapper, he believes in limitless opportunities and is determined to achieve great success.
