Artist TJ Soul To Release New Music in 2021

Long Beach-area rapper TJ Soul aka Jose Rodriguez, grew up as a street musician. People knew him best as “TIJUANA” or “TJ” as he would play saxophone for the locals and the tourists to enjoy. While growing up, singing in his fathers mariachi band gave him a voice. Today, he describes his sound as a new form of R&B, Soul and Hip Hop, which he uses to express himself to the angels here on earth and the heavens above. Communicating self-expressive stories, TJ finds inspiration in timeless, classic hits. Some of his influences include Sade, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson. Determined to welcome a new era with his unique and distinctive sound, TJ Soul is currently promoting his single “Hypocrisy” – the single is about the feeling that you get when nobody believes in you. It’s about that feeling that you get when you’re broke and nobody sees you. When you’re grinding, people begin to notice you, but as soon as you start the climb to success, people want to get to know who you are. He hopes that the single helps to positively impact people who might be experiencing similar feelings of depression. Currently working on another music video, he is planning to get his SOULTEAM as many visuals as he can this year. About to launch his new project “Latin Nights” on 6/29, TJ will for the first time, display his bilingual culture at the forefront and we can’t wait to hear it!
