Today, we speak with the new star about her childhood, creative process and much more. Learn everything about Dijellza below.

Why did you start to do music?

I’ve always kinda had a love and passion for music. I want to help spread a positive message in the world. I’ve always dreamt of going on tour, having interviews, meeting fans around the world, and just helping people in general. I pray to God every day and night for my dreams to come true. I just have to keep on working, and never stop.

When did you know that it was actually going to be your career?

Since I was 14 years old I’ve always wanted to make my life based on music and pursue it as a career. I just love being around music. It’s very therapeutic for me and I hope my music can help people the way music helps me!

If you could get advice from any artist in the industry, who would it be and why?

Simply it would be, Selena Gomez. I have loved and looked up to Selena since I was 5 years old. I would love to hear any advice from the woman I idolized since I was a child. Her music stood out to me and pushed me to do the same thing she is doing right now.

What or who influences your music?

Selena Gomez really influenced my music. A well as the 80s hip hop and r&b.

Has anyone helped you or guided you in getting your foot in the industry?

I learned a lot on my own. Just by growing older and opening up my eyes more into the industry.

How many albums do you have placements on?

For right now I have not released any albums. I am working on my first EP, “Butterflies”. I plan on releasing an album when I am older and more mature in my sound.

What differentiates you from other artists?

I feel like my genre and style is not what you see in these everyday artists. My sound is very different. I don’t want to be the same as the other recording artist. I have a very unique sound and I’m slowly growing up to find its full potential!

How can artists looking to purchase beats get in contact with you?

They can simply just shoot me an email that is linked to my Instagram.

What do you hope to get out of your involvement in the music industry?

I want to spread joy in what I do. I want people to vibe to my music. I want to spread awareness on things that actually matter. I just hope I can live out my dream and be the person who the public can relate to. I want to tell people to live out their dream and to not mind whoever talks because everyone talks. Never give up.
