From the age of four, Dean Bar Haim knew he wanted to thrive in Miami, Florida. Growing up in Israel may sound exotic enough all on its own, but the truth is, relocating to America marked the completion of a life-long goal for the young businessman who has come to be known simply as “Hurricane.” A far more exotic lifestyle awaited him, as he ventured to deal in luxury vehicles, custom jewelry, and top-of-the-line timepieces—all in the land of sunshine and hurricanes.
This was not an easy task. As a 22-year-old immigrant to the US, he was starting from the bottom up. Five years later, at age 27, he has turned his companies into the go-to suppliers for a wide variety of clientele, both rich and famous. His affinity for good business and quality merchandising landed his enterprise on the radars of rappers, producers, models, athletes, and other businessmen; all of whom saw value not only in the products, but in Dean’s consistency and work ethic.
His personal Instagram page attests. Scroll down and you’ll be faced with a wall of colorful images; from the Lamborghini glamour shots, to the pure boss flex-ology of candid shots with Jamie Foxx, or yacht rides with Gunna. And the best part is, you can tell Dean is just having fun living his life.
Proof positive that his head is planted firmly on his shoulders: the first image on his Instagram is a lovely photo of his family, taken in 2015—clearly, his main focus and the inspiration for all his monumental success. The second image: a side shot of Dean inside a bullet-proof Hummer. And the third image: one of his dad, with the caption, “Don’t forget who the most important person in your life is…”
All of this is just the tip of the iceberg, no pun intended. If it’s ice you’re looking for, start with @iceskrt, the official page of Dean’s custom jewelry business: SKRT. Another great starting point is Start Point Exotics, Miami’s most trusted brand for luxury rentals; from sports cars to yacht charters. As specialists in all things music, culture, and fashion, we here at One West are excited to see which lane Hurricane shakes up next.
