Actor, comedian, and producer Bill Posley grew up happily identifying as both black & white. But at only 10 years

‘Survivor’ TV Series actor and film director.

old, he learned that the world does, in fact, judge a book by its color. In his charming one hour special, “The Day I Became Black” – A Biracial Experience in America, Posley cleverly depicts his experience growing up with a black father and a white mother in the streets of Boston, Massachusetts. Being biracial means that your identity is always “on trial” and ‘The Day I Became Black’ tackles just that — not just through a Black lens, but through a Biracial one as well. We’ve all been forced to identify at one time or another, yet this funny, engaging, and incredibly endearing one-man show finds the comedy in the struggle of trying to fit in.
