Lele Rose is “Running Away” with The Thorns in New Video

Written by the beautiful and talented Lele Rose, at home on her piano and recorded with engineer Blaine Misner at Cue Studios Falls Church, VA next to her hometown of Arlington/Washington DC, the song is a metaphor about this current time in her life of being a young adult and a working musician making it in the industry. With everything going on in the world today from violent acts to natural disasters, the song enables the listener to escape through beautiful melodies, the grand piano, and the immersion of the electric guitar.

“Running Away” brings Rose’s songwriting to life through the true story of a piano girl finding her rock n roll band and hitting the road on tour. Instead of running away from herself and her dreams, she finds an escape through music to live out her dreams and take her audience with her.

Most recognized by her distinct soulful voice and refined piano chops, singer/songwriter Lele Rose returned to the stage in LA with the newest edition of her rock band, The Thorns. United by The Sunset Jam’s weekly show at The Viper Room in West Hollywood presented by Erik Himel, the band came together to create the final scene in Rose’s latest music video.

With a full house at The Mint LA last Thursday (October 19th), Lele Rose & The Thorns put on an electrifying show for the release of their Running Away Music Video filmed on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles by Industrialism Films. THE THORNS includes creator Lele Rose on lead vocals, keyboard, guitar, Damon Cisneros – co-musical director on drums, Stonehand Andrew lead guitar, Megan Rask bass, Andre Ribeiro keyboards. Performing pop rock soul music live from her albums Bliss Kingdom, and Back 2 Life with a Bruno Mars cover, the band received an enormous positive response from the crowd. Sophia Radisch opened the night and Mike Bauer closed it out, KBH Entertainment presented a solid night.
