WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has reportedly been hospitalized and his condition appears more serious than previously thought.

According to Legacy Talent Agency, the agency which represent Flair, the 68-year old professional wrestling legend originally went to the hospital over the weekend for “routine monitoring” and added that there was “no reason to panic.”

However, something changed Sunday night which indicates Flair was being hospitalized for more than your standard routine checkup.

Melinda Morris Zanoni, the CEO of Legacy Talent Agency, shared a few messages on social media, asking fans for positive energy in light of some tough medical news.

As of now it’s unclear exactly what the medical issues are, but ESPN’s Tim Fiorvanti is reporting that The Nature Boy has been admitted to an intensive care unit.

Flair holds the WWE record for most ever World Heavyweight Championship title reigns with 16, and was also the first ever WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008 for his illustrious singles career and then again in 2012 as a member of The Four Horsemen.

Information regarding his condition is still developing but you can read the messages from his talent agency below.

The wrestling world is praying for Flair to have a speedy recovery and to get through the surgery. John Cena posted a tweet asking for those to join him in sending positive energy Flair’s way.

The Charlotte native previously had a health scare in December 1998, according to the Charlotte Observer. Before a World Wrestling Championship event in Tampa, Flair slumped over in the corner of a wrestling ring and had to be taken to the hospital for tests.

Flair said he felt numbness in his left arm and chest spasms, but they were not the result of a heart attack.

The “stylin’, profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin’ n’ dealin’ son of a gun” is a 16-time pro wrestling champion whose career has spanned over 40 years in WWE, WCW and TNA.

ESPN will be releasing a 30 for 30 documentary on Flair this fall. “Nature Boy” will debut on Nov. 7
